About Scarcity, Currency and Value
For Fiorucci Art Trust
A sculptural installation presented during the Nomad art and design fair in Montecarlo. Arabeschi di Latte were asked to design an installation at Nicoletta Fiorucci (Fiorucci Art Trust) private house inside the historical Le Trocadero building.
The studio designed three totems to celebrate the relationship between food and money, through the concept of scarcity, currency and value. Placed on Opus tables designed by the studio Formafantasma, the totems were made from materials that represented Roman architecture such as stone and brass. The three totems allowed guests to experience the story from different perspectives, whilst questioning social norms and values.
